About Psy. Rocío Suárez Ordoñez

Rocío Suárez Ordoñez is a Clinical Psychologist, International Consultant and Speaker specialized in trauma, substance use disorders, and applied neuroscience for human behavior, leadership, and decision-making.

For more than 15 years, she has worked across Latin America, Europe, North America, Africa and Asia helping individuals, organizations and multidisciplinary teams understand how learned patterns and predictive models in the brain shape the way people think, decide, relate, and respond to the world.

Her work focuses on translating neuroscience into evidence-based frameworks that make complex psychological mechanisms clear, practical, and actionable.

Rocío designs tools, strategies and methodologies that allow people to identify the patterns learned through experience, and to update them, using neuroplasticity, cognitive science and behavioral evidence.

She has collaborated with global organizations such as UNC-Chapel Hill, the Organization of American States (OAS/CICAD), WFAD, DFAF, GWN and UNODC, designing training programs, technical tools, international initiatives, and capacity-building resources for prevention, recovery, wellbeing, and behavioral change.

Rocío is also the creator of NERO, a method that applies neuroscience to uncover and update the predictive patterns that influence mental health, performance, emotional regulation, clarity, leadership, and relational dynamics.

Her mission is to bridge science and real-life application, helping leaders, teams, and individuals move from automatic, learned responses to updated internal models that support better decisions, healthier relationships, and consistent performance, with evidence-based tools.
